The study explored how environmental values, intrinsic and extrinsic rewards, and self-efficacy shape entrepreneurial intention through mediating psychological factors.

  • Environmental values positively influenced sustainable entrepreneurship intention through attitude toward sustainable entrepreneurship (β = 0.264)
  • Intrinsic rewards positively influenced intention through entrepreneurial attitude (β = 0.124)
  • Extrinsic rewards positively influenced intention through perceived entrepreneurial aspiration (β = 0.030)
  • Self-efficacy positively influenced intention through perceived feasibility (β = 0.061)

Business / Policy Implications

  • Universities can strengthen entrepreneurship programs by combining sustainability education with startup capability building
  • Policymakers can improve startup participation by reducing structural barriers for young founders
  • Support organizations should build programs that improve student confidence and startup feasibility perception
